PLITVICKA JEZERA, Dec 30 (Hina) - Following its renovation in the past two years, one of the best-known hotels in the Plitvice Lakes National Park, hotel 'Jezero', was re-opened on Thursday. The reconstruction, financed with a
DM25-million loan, completes a four-year programme of revitalisation and reconstruction of the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The renovated hotel was opened by the head of the State Directorate for Environmental Protection, Ante Kutle, and Lika-Senj County prefect Ante Frkovic. According to the new categorisation of catering and tourist facilities, the hotel was given three stars. It has 229 accommodation units, a congress hall, a sauna, a fitness centre and other offers.
