GUNDINCI, Dec 22 (Hina) - Croatia's Construction, Housing and Physical Planning Minister, Marko Sirac, on Wednesday marked the beginning of construction works at a 26-kilometre-long Kopanica-Zupanja section of the Posavska Highway.
This section (250 kilometres east of Zagreb) should be built by 15 November 2001, and financial means for its construction will be allotted from the state budget.

Physical Planning Minister, Marko Sirac, on Wednesday marked the
beginning of construction works at a 26-kilometre-long Kopanica-
Zupanja section of the Posavska Highway.
This section (250 kilometres east of Zagreb) should be built by 15
November 2001, and financial means for its construction will be

The Posavska Highway is a 305.6-kilometre-long part of the
international road direction E-70 which in Croatia proceeds from
Bregana (the border crossing with Slovenia) toward Bajakovo (the
border crossing with Yugoslavia). So far, 241.7 kilometres have
been built as a motorway. Besides Velika Kopanica-Zupanja section,
a 17.7-kilometre-long section from Bregana to Jankomir, a suburb of
Zagreb, is being under construction.
