The Croatian pavilion suggests a connection to nature and water as the bases of life, a member of the authors' team Branko Siladjin said. The 648-square-meter pavilion will have a glass floor beneath which segments of Croatian soil - rocky ground, plow-land, fields, rivers, and the sea - will be exhibited. A documentary presenting Croatia and its people today will also be shown. After the exhibition, which lasts from June 1 to September 31, 2000, the Croatian pavilion moves to Croatia, Radic said.
