ZAGREB, Dec 15 (Hina) - A joint Croatian-Macedonian committee for the implementation of a free trade agreement convened in Skopje on Wednesday for its fifth, two-day session. According to a statement from the Croatian Economy
Ministry, a joint Croatian-Macedonian quota allocation sub-commission should discuss today proposals for the allocation of custom quotas for the export and import of agricultural products, which should come into force in the first six months of next year. The Croatian delegation is headed by Deputy Economy Minister Jasna Boric, while her counterpart Tatjana Petrovic-Mitrova is heading the Macedonian delegation. Croatia and Macedonia signed a free trade agreement in Skopje on 9 May 1997. Between 1997 and the present trade has revolved around US$120 million per year.
