The note reads: "I express my deep dissatisfaction with failures
which occurred in providing information about the death of Croatian
President Franjo Tudjman. My dissatisfaction is all the greater
because during a conversation with an authorised official at the
President's Office, several hours before the sad event, I was
assured that the news agency Hina would be provided with
information on time. Because of those failures the agency had to
gather information from its users and foreign media instead of
providing them with timely information", Tolic said in the letter.
