ZAGREB, Nov 25 (Hina) - At Thursday's session the Croatian Government gave consent to Croatian Telecommunications (HT) to take a DM13.4 million loan from the Siemens d.d. Zagreb company to be used for the payment of products and
services in the mobile telecommunications system. The loan is to be paid in five years with a year's grace period and an annual interest rate of 6.25 per cent. The HT will use the loan to purchase and set in use equipment and services to harmonise the Cronet mobile telecommunications service with the year 2000 and for the maintenance of the Cronet GSM mobile communications subsystem . According to Finance Minister Borislav Skegro, the Government decided to give its consent because of the positive effect the purchase of equipment would have on the economic development, favourable financing conditions and low HT debts.(hina) lml
