ZAGREB, Nov 22 (Hina) - The Croatian Post and Telecommunications Union (HSPT) and the Croatian People's Party (HNS) on Monday signed a cooperation agreement. The agreement binds the HSPT to call on its members to vote for the HNS at
the impending parliamentary elections, and the HNS to promote the rights of HSPT members in the future parliament. According to the agreement, the HNS will endorse a HSPT demand for a higher number of shares of Croatian Telecom (HT) intended for current and former employees, which is presently seven percent, and will also advocate the possibility for HT employees to purchase shares prior to a public bid for tenders. The cooperation agreement also binds the HNS to support the HSPT in efforts for the signing of a collective agreement for HT employees, which would prevent dismissals without an agreement with the union over the next five year
