ZAGREB, Nov 24 (Hina) - A Croatian government delegation, headed by Premier Zlatko Matesa, and United States Ambassador to Croatia William Montgomery on Wednesday inaugurated the assembling of equipment for a combination-cogeneration
gas plant at the Zagreb Thermo-Electric Power Plant - Heating Plant. The new plant should ensure additional and ecologically clean sources of electric and heat power for the City of Zagreb. Construction, worth DM230 million, has been financed by Croatian power utility company Hrvatska Elektroprivreda. The contractor is U.S. company Parsons Power Group, with several domestic companies also participating.
