HR-ELECTIONS-Politika BRIEF NEWS BULLETIN IN ENGLISH NO. 3450 HINA ZAGREB, NOVEMBER 21 DEPUTY PRESIDENTIAL CHIEF-OF-STAFF COMMENTS ON ELECTIONSZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman has not scheduled elections for December 22, according to prior announcements, as he is still undergoing intensive medical treatment as the public has been informed by the doctors' consultation, deputy Presidential Chief-of-Staff Vesna Skare Ozbolt told Hina Sunday. According to Ozbolt, there are interpretations that the deadline for scheduling elections for the Croatian Parliament expired Sunday midnight in order for the elections to be held on December 22. In any case, the deadline for scheduling elections has not expired for them to be held within the time envisaged in the Constitution, she said.
