KORCULA KORCULA, Nov 21 (Hina) - A German luxurious ship "Berlin", on a cruise from Greece to Venice, on Sunday could not sail into the harbour of Korcula on the Croatian southern island of Korcula due to a strong south wind and heavy
rain. The ship with 200 passengers from Germany and Austria had to give up plans to reach Korcula and then proceeded toward the Italian city. The tourists from the "Berlin" ship should have gone sightseeing around the island, tested the famous wine Posip in the winery of Car and watched a chivalrous tournament called "Moreska", said a tourist worker, Zeljko Separovic. Out of 52 arranged arrivals of foreign tourist ships this year, just two entered the port of Korcula. Others had been cancelled either due to bad weather or the armed conflict in Kosovo.(hina) ms
