ZAGREB, Nov 20 (Hina) - The Croatian Interior Ministry on Saturday issued a statement on press statements regarding an article in The New York Times on break-ins into the apartments of US Embassy officials in Zagreb. "The break-ins which are referred to in the New York Times article were reported in September and October. The police carried out on-the-spot investigations and pressed criminal charges against unidentified perpetrators. In one case, some jewellery was stolen from the apartment, whereas in the other case nothing was stolen. In the course of the investigation, the police intensified the search for persons from the criminal milieu, who are known for having carried out break-ins similar to the two cases. One should say the two break-ins differ in the manner they were carried out and there is no connection between them. The damaged parties have not contacted the police after the initial o
