that the Zagreb Fair, with its 30 or so fairs, holds a significant place in European and world fair events. Nowadays, the Zagreb fair is held on 550,000 square metres, of which over 300,000 are used for fair events. Of about 30 fairs which are held every year at the Zagreb Fair, 16 carry the sign of the Union des Foires Internationale (UFI). Speaking about the business reputation of the Zagreb Fair, the UFI president, Manfred Bushe, said that possibilities of the national economy were a significant precondition for the further development of the fair.(hina) it jn
