ZAGREB, Nov 9 (Hina) - In a statement for Croatian Television (HTV) central news broadcast on Tuesday night, Premier Zlatko Matesa expressed hope President Franjo Tudjman would recover soon and return to his usual activities.
Commenting on the functioning of state authority, Matesa said, "everything is functioning normally, state institutions are functioning, security in the country is at the highest possible level", adding "there are no problems whatsoever in that regard". "For almost ten years the President has been investing enormous amounts of energy and all of us have in a way got used to his working dynamics and we wish that he return as soon as possible. I am communicating with the President through reports, informing him about the work of the Government and anything a president of the state should know", Matesa said.(hina) jn rml
