Angelicum on Wednesday evening.

project, "Croatia and Europe - culture, science and art", in the
edition of the Croatian Academy of Arts and Science (HAZU) is
displayed in the Pope University of Angelicum on Wednesday

Present at the event were numerous senior Croatian Church and state
officials, members of the Academy and other guests.
The first of five volumes of books "Croatia and Europe" includes the
period between seventh and 12 century. The "Croatia and Europe"
project is of a great significance and aims at promotion and
strengthening of Croatia's cultural, political and spiritual
identity in world's cultural, scientific and political public.
The project was sponsored by the HAZU and the UNESCO.
About 100 experts in history, religion, science and art, were
working on the project.
The first volume was presented by Croatian Ambassador to Italy
Davorin Rudolf, HAZU president Ivo Padovan, editor-in-chief of the
edition Ivan Supicic and Dominican Stjepan Krasic.
