He added the Government had granted 350 million kuna (US$49.3
million) of direct financial assistance for the economic
development of the agricultural and food-processing plant Belje,
which is the future of the economic and other development of
Baranja.
Radic called on all residents of Baranja, notwithstanding their
nationality, to jointly, as true citizens of Croatia, build the
future of Croatia.
Osijek-Baranja County Prefect Branimir Glavas recalled the great
damage suffered by the economy of this county, assessed at DM6.5
billion.
