LAST RESPECTS PAID TO BRUNO BUSIC REMAINS IN PARIS

PARIS PARIS, Oct 10 (Hina) - The last respects were paid to the remains of Croatian patriot Bruno Ante Busic at the Croat Catholic Mission in Paris on Sunday. Busic's remains were exhibited in the parish church in the morning hours, with honorary guard provided by members of the Croat community in Paris. A mass was then served. Busic was a fighter for independent Croatia who was brutally killed in Paris 21 years ago in an assassination carried out by the UDBA, a former Yugoslav secret service. Today's services were attended by more than a thousand Croats, the faithful, and members of the Croat community in Paris, as well as by members of a Croatian delegation from Zagreb, headed by MP Vice Vukojevic, representatives of the Croatian Embassy in Paris, and the head of the Croatian diplomatic mission to the UNESCO, Vesna Girardi-Jurkic.
