million loan for the health system project in Croatia, the World Bank said in a statement in Washington. For the project, the Croatian Government will set aside US10.9 million, the statement said. The health system project has several parts to it. Its goal is to improve primary health care, and a pilot programme will be initiated in Koprivnica which, if it yields satisfactory results, will be applied all over Croatia. At the same time hospital and secondary care will be worked on, especially concerning the prevention of coronary diseases and care for patients with coronary problems. Certain parts of the project concern public health and the destruction of pharmaceutical waste. The loan was granted for a 15-year payment period with a five year grace period
