ZAGREB, Oct 1 (Hina) - Croatia's external debt at the end of June amounted to US$8.83 billion, the Croatian National bank said in its September bulletin. Of the said amount, US$7.9 billion refers to medium- and long-term loans,
whereas US$928 million refers to short-term loans. In comparison to May, the external debt at the end of June was US$256 million, or three percent higher. According to medium- and long-term loans, the June debt was reduced by US$18.9 million, but rose by US$274 million in short-term loans.(hina) ha
