According to Wednesday's issue of the Sarajevo daily "Dnevni avaz", Hajric said the check-up was part of a regular procedure and was not caused by deterioration in Izetbegovic's health, as had been claimed by some media. "Slobodna Bosna" weekly last week published that Izetbegovic's heart muscle had grown weaker and that he was advised by his doctors to undergo a thorough examination necessary for a new therapy.
