MOSTAR AIRPORT UNDER TOWN AUTHORITY MOSTAR, Sept 17 (Hina) - Pursuant to a decision by the deputy to the High Representative to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Ralph Johnson, the Mostar airport has been given over to the control and authority of
the town. The decision abolished transitional administration at the airport, the regional office of the High representative said in a statement Friday. Johnson made the decision on September 10. The High Representative expects the town of Mostar to control the airport in line with the Transitional Statute of the Town of Mostar and sign agreements necessary for the continuation of the work of the airport for civilian aeroplanes, the statement said. The Mostar airport is the only airport explicitly mentioned in the Dayton Agreement and is important for the development of the Mostar area.
