ZAGREB, Sept 16 (Hina) - The European Commission granted a EUR11.5 million assistance programme intended for the return of refugees to Croatia, the Office of the Commission's envoy in Zagreb said in a statement on Thursday. The
statement says the programme represents a comprehensive approach for the continuation of a sustainable reintegration of displaced persons and refugees according to a European Union reconstruction for the return programme. The two-year programme which the European Commission implements in cooperation with its envoy's Office in Zagreb is aimed at an effective return to pre-war homes and at reintegration and reconciliation through improved living conditions, primarily the reconstruction of houses.(hina) ha jn
