Talic was arrested by NATO-led Stabilisation Force (SFOR) troops earlier this week pursuant to a silent indictment issued against him by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) for war crimes. OSCE spokesman in Sarajevo Alexander Nitzsche told a news conference Thursday that Republika Srpska representatives had walked out of the seminar following Talic's arrest. He added the OSCE had not known about the plans for Talic's arrest, but it fully supported the work of the Tribunal.
