CAKOVEC CAKOVEC, Aug 7 (Hina) - The northern Croatian town of Cakovec has been hosting an international ecological camp for the first time. The camp which is to take place in Cakovec by August 15, is gathering young environmentalists
from France, Spain, Germany, Turkey and the United States. They are tidying up the Trnava channel in the southern part of Cakovec. The camp has been organised as part of events to mark the 10th anniversary of the friendship charter signed by Cakovec and the German town of Schramberg. The head of the Cakovec camp, Gerold Wegener, who is representative of the Stuttgart-based IBG international organisation, said this camp was a pilot project which should help organise similar camps in other Croatian areas as well.(hina) ms
