the town of Ogulin and Karlovac County. The Croatian government will therefore make a decision next week on urgent assistance to the flood-stricken area of Ogulin (90 kilometres south-west of Zagreb), said Vice-Premier Ljerka Mintas Hodak, during Saturday's visit to Ogulin. County Prefect Vlado Jelkovac and Ogulin Mayor Ivan Vucic informed Mintas Hodak of consequences of the flood which was caused by heavy rains and the overflowing of the Dobra river and its tributaries. They also spoke about measures for recovering the area. The Dobra river is withdrawing slowly into its bed about five centimetres per hour.
