arrived in Sarajevo around 9 am Friday. Tudjman is to participate in
today's summit of the Stability Pact for South-East Europe.
In line with a protocol, which is valid for all participants in the

Before the start of the working part of the summit, which is
expected to begin at 12 o'clock, President Tudjman and members of
the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina will sign an agreement on the
Croatian-Bosnia-Herzegovina border.
"For Croatia and all other countries this Pact represents an
attempt to regulate and normalise relations in this treacherous
region. Therefore, we should not expect anything spectacular. The
Sarajevo meeting, which gathers very responsible statesmen, is not
a formal agreement but it does represent a harmonised view on the
need to normalise relations, and from that point of view Croatia is
very interested", Tudjman said before his departure for Sarajevo
from Pula airport.
He added the Kosovo crisis had directly affected Croatia's tourism
as well as other relations.
