BOSNIAN PRESIDENCY CHAIRMAN RECEIVES U.S. AMBASSADOR

SARAJEVO, July 21 (Hina) - Bosnian Presidency chairman Ante Jelavic on Wednesday held talks with the United States Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Richard Kauzlarich. The talks discussed the impending Stability Pact for Southeast Europe summit, to be held in the Bosnian capital later this month,, and a work outline for three main regional tables, on security, democratisation and human rights, and economic issues. According to a statement from Jelavic's office, Jelavic said Bosnia will put forward its own regional incentives, primarily with regard to a new security concept for the region, the reduction of the armed force and budgetary items for military purposes, and advanced economic cooperation with countries in the region. Jelavic and Kauzlarich agreed the countries in the region must be the factors making initiations, thus confirming their commitment to actively participate in the work of the Stability Pact
