ZAGREB, July 17 (Hina) - A volunteer reconstruction programme gathering the Croatian youth from abroad, called 'Task Force 99', started in Zagreb on Saturday. The purpose of the project, established in 1992, is the reconstruction of
Croatia. This year's project includes 30 young Croats from about ten countries, who will participate in the reconstruction of Daruvar, a town in western Slavonia. According to the projects' head, Nives Andoljak, the project was initially to be conducted in Ilok, eastern Slavonia, but it was changed to Daruvar because of the NATO operation in Yugoslavia. This year's 'Task Force' will last until August 7. 'Task Force' has so far participated in reconstruction programmes in Vocin, Donji Brgat (near Dubrovnik), Istria, Plitvice Lakes, Lake Skradin and the isle of Galovac near Zadar.(hina) rml
