ZAGREB, June 28 (Hina) - The Croatian National Sabor's House of
Representatives on Monday continued its 41st session with a debate
on changes to the Law on Housing Investment (a system of saving as a
precondition for a housing loan) and State Incentives for Housing
Investment.
The MPs will today discuss a dozen bills, whereas tomorrow they will
debate the Croatian intelligence and security system and the demand
of the "Opposition Six" regarding the establishment of a commission
of inquiry to probe into the work of intelligence services.
Djurdja Adlesic of the Croatian Social-Democratic Party (HSLS)
objected to the fact that the debate on intelligence services would
be held tomorrow afternoon, without live television broadcast.
It would be a sign of good will of the ruling party to schedule the
debate for tomorrow morning, she said.
Parliament President Vlatko Pavletic said tomorrow's debate on
intelligence services would be filmed and broadcast on Wednesday
morning. This does not change the essence of the matter, Pavletic
said, adding there had already been similar objections.
