WORLD BANK GRANTS 134 MILLION LOANS TO BOSNIA

WASHINGTON, June 26 (Hina) - The World Bank on Friday approved three loans, worth 134 million dollars, for Bosnia-Herzegovina. According to a statement released by the Bank, 50 million out of that amount will be spent for privatisation of firms and banks in Bosnia, 12 million will be taken for stimulation for the production, whereas the largest part of 72 million dollars will be used for the adjustment of public finance. All three loans have been granted according to the IDA conditions with the 35-year-long period of payment and 10-year grace period. Since 1996, Bosnia has received about 700 million dollars of loans from the World Bank.(hina) ms
