ZAGREB, June 7 (Hina) - The parliamentary bench of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) on Monday held a three-and-a-half-hour discussion on the privatisation of Croatian Telecommunications. A final decision on a bill related to
the public company's privatisation should be passed by the parliament's House of Representatives at a sitting beginning on Wednesday. HDZ bench president Vladimir Seks told reporters after the session the discussion focused on the protection of national interests and how to establish the share which veterans and the company's former and current employees would have in the privatisation. The most controversial issue remained the privatisation model, namely the definition of all stages in the process.
