ZAGREB, June 23 (Hina) - The United States President's special envoy for Bosnia-Herzegovina, Robert Gelbard, on Wednesday welcomed an agreement U.S. company "Enron" and Croatia's power supply company "Hrvatska Elektroprivreda" signed
in Croatia today. Gelbard assessed the agreement on the building and use of a gas thermal power plant north of Zagreb was the culmination of the work begun by late U.S. trade secretary Ron Brown. The signing of the agreement also represents the continuation of Croatia's transformation into an open and free market economy, Gelbard said. The signing was also welcomed by Stuart E. Eizenstat, under-secretary at the U.S. Department of Economy and Agriculture. He said "Enron", one of America's major companies, would give Croatia a world class project.(hina) ha
