ZAGREB, June 21 (Hina) - A few Croatian travel agencies have reduced prices for tourist packages and launched advertising campaigns for Croatian resorts in the recent weeks in order to stimulate a larger number of foreign and domestic
tourists to go on vacation on the Croatian Adriatic coast. They have also introduced discounts for children, youth and retirees. The Zagreb-based "Kompas" agency is satisfied with the sales of arrangements in the last two weeks. Bookings for resorts in central Dalmatia (areas of Zadar and Split) as well as for islands of Hvar and Brac and northern Adriatic were sold well in that period. The Zagreb-based "Kompas" agency is satisfied with the sales of
arrangements in the last two weeks.

board in Novi Vinodolski at the price of 1,000 kuna, and in Supetar
and Dubrovnik at the price of 860 kuna.
Arrangements for Hvar, Brela, Rab, Opatija and Dubrovnik are being
sold well via this company.
The Dubrovnik-based "Atlas" offers the seven-day stay in Dubrovnik
at the price of 1260 kuna, in Rovinj at the price of 890 kuna and in
Umag at the price of 1180 kuna.
So far, tourists have showed the greatest interest in arrangements
for Umag, Rabac, Porec, Bol, Vis, Veli Losinj and Mljet via this
travel agency.
Atlas is expecting first big groups of British, German, Austria,
Czech and Italian holiday-makers in the end of this month.
According to some estimates, 130,000 foreign guests will arrive in
Croatia this summer. It is 40 percent of the planned results or 60
percent of results achieved last year.
The Zagreb-based "Spektar" agency offers the seven-day half-board
in Opatija at the price of 1150 kuna, in Crikvenica and Selce at the
price of 799 kuna, on Krk at the price of 950 kuna and in Novi
Vinodolski at the price of 599 kuna.
