JOHANNESBURG, June 16 (Hina) - Croatia is interested in the development of relations with the Republic of South Africa, Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic said in Johannesburg on Wednesday. Granic is accompanying Tudjman on his
visit to South Africa on the occasion of the inauguration of the new President Thabo Mbeki. The Republic of South Africa presented a multiple symbol and only for Africa, but for the entire world, but primarily it symbolises reconciliation, Granic said, commenting on the transition of the country from apartheid to democracy and the election of Mbeki's predecessor Nelson Mandela as the first black president of the Republic of South Africa.
