SARAJEVO, June 8 (Hina) - The Government of Bosnia's Croat-Muslim
Federation on Tuesday endorsed another three draft annexes to a an
agreement on special relations with Croatia.
These three and six previously endorsed annexes will be included in
the agenda of a Council for Cooperation Between the Federation and
Croatia session, to be held in Zagreb on June 11.
At today's session held in Sarajevo, the Federation Government
assessed Croatia's draft annexes, which define ways of bilateral
cooperation in science, technology, and higher education, as well
as in culture, as entirely acceptable.
A draft annex on cooperation in the protection from natural and
civilisation disasters was also endorsed.
These draft annexes will, alongside those endorsed last week, be
discussed at the Cooperation Council session on Friday.
Unless there are significant objections, the draft annexes could be
initialled immediately. All the annexes will have to be approved by
members of the Federation Parliament before coming into force.
The Cooperation Council session will also discuss three brand new
annexes drafted by the Federation. The annexes refer to economy,
environment protection, and the use of natural resources and
power.
Three important annexes, regarding property-rights relations,
cooperation in extradition, and cooperation in fighting organised
crime, terrorism and drug smuggling, previously motioned by
Croatia, have not yet been given the "green light" by the Federation
Government, due to unadjusted standpoints among Federation
ministries. The Federation Government decided the views must be
harmonised within 15 days.
The Croatian Government will probably receive for discussion draft
annexes on cooperation in health care and care for invalid
veterans.
