TIRANA, May 31 (Hina) - About 100 Serbian soldiers were killed in last week's fighting between the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and Serbian forces, a representative of KLA's special units Anton Quni told Voice of America on Monday.
According to Quni, the KLA was successful in defending a local headquarters in the village of Koshare near the border with Albania in spite of a number of attacks launched by the Yugoslav forces. Quni made no statements regarding possible victims among KLA fighters.(hina) rml
