ZAGREB, May 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Peasants' Party (HSS) on Wednesday requested the release of Croatian reporter Antun Masle who is currently in Montenegrin prison, under Yugoslav military authorities. The HSS protested to Yugoslav
civil and military authorities that Masle, accused of spying, was extended his detention time in Podgorica. The indictment stipulating Masle's detention time be extended was not issued even after six weeks, and detention was extended with no just reason, with the threat of trial at the Yugoslav military court, the HSS said in a statement. The accusation of weekly Globus's reporter is, thus, a violation of human rights and freedoms, and preventing a professional performance of a job, the HSS said.(hina) lml
