The Kosovapress news agency reported that Serbs attacked Albanian-
populated villages in the area of Drenica forcing 20,000 people to
leave their homes.
Radio Tirana said Serbian forces had killed at least 100 Albanian
and Gypsy civilians during their attacks on the villages of Velika
Krusha and Negavci near Orahovac at the end of the last month.
Dozens of civilians in the area have been missing since then.
According to some estimates, 700,000 ethnic Albanians have
remained in Kosovo. Most of them are living in the open without
sufficient supplies of food, medicines and water.
