ZAGREB, May 11 (Hina) - After a long absence due to illness, Croatian parliament president Vlatko Pavletic on Tuesday resumed his duties. "I am ready for it," he told reporters in Zagreb and informed them about a parliament presidency
session he chaired today. It was decided the House of Representatives will begin its 40th session on May 19, Pavletic said. He hopes a state budget revision will be adopted by then, but stressed he will also convene a special session if the prime minister exerts his right to request so. The autumn parliament sitting will begin in mid-September, Pavletic said, adding two or three further sessions will be convened in the present composition. The House of Representatives will be dissolved in mid-October due to the upcoming elections.(hina) ha jn
