MODENA, May 5 (Hina) - The European Union supported Croatia's full membership in the World Trade Organisation (WTO) at a Geneva meeting , Croatian Economy Minister Nenad Porges told reporters in Modena after his talks with Italian
Foreign Trade Minister Piero Fassino on Wednesday. Porges arrived in Geneva on Tuesday for talks on a draft document on Croatia's joining the World Trade Organisation. Porges said that still ahead were negotiations on the document on Croatia's joining the WTO, adding that a working group in charge of Croatia's admission to the WTO should convene for the last formal session in mid-July. The WTO Main Council should then pass a decision on Croatia's admittance, Porges told reporters. The Economy Minister stressed Croatia had almost come to an end of the entire admission process and expressed hope a new WTO director, who is the only person authorised to sign the document on
