southern Bosnian town which were destroyed during the Croat-Muslim conflict earlier in the decade. According to a statement from the town authorities, Mayor Ivan Prskalo and his deputy Safet Orucevic met World Bank representatives in Washington and discussed the technical aspects regarding the financing of the Old Bridge reconstruction project. The project, led by the town of Mostar and the World Bank in association with the UNESCO, is according to the statement one of global partnership aimed at the protection of cultural heritage. The town's authorities expect strong support at an upcoming donors' conference which will focus on the reconstruction of symbols of reconciliation and the restoration of trust among
