WASHINGTON, April 14 (Hina) - The World Bank on Tuesday granted a US$15-million loan to Bosnia-Herzegovina for the implementation of a project of local development. The money will help in the implementation of four sub-projects - of
the establishment of local bodies of authority, the strengthening of banks, the establishment of a local development fund, and of the assistance in local government, worth US$18.5 million. The credit will be returned over 35 years with a 10-year grace period, World Bank officials said. Since 1996, the World Bank has granted US$550 million of loans for 25 projects in Bosnia-Herzegovina, including yesterday's loan.(hina) rml
