VUKOVAR, Apr 1 (Hina) - The bodies of two Croats killed in 1991 were exhumed from the Novo Groblje cemetery in the eastern Croatian town of Vukovar on Thursday to collect forensic evidence in criminal proceedings against murder
suspect Tihomir Misanovic. A trial against Misanovic, born in 1967, began in Vukovar on March 24. He is charged with killing Croats Djuro Rogic and Vladimir Turbe and attempting to kill Mato Kusic at Ovcara, a farm near Vukovar, on October 3, 1991. Misanovic pleaded not guilty. Several witnesses testified in the trial already, including key witness Kusic who said he avoided certain death by fleeing to a corn-field. Two days ago, the entire event was re-enacted to shed light on the circumstances in which it occurred. Judge Ante Zeljko told Hina the main hearing would resume after he has seen findings by court experts and ballistics. The bodies of Rogic and Turbe

The bodies of Rogic and Turbe were exhumed in March 1998, not far
from the place they are presumed to have been killed at. They were
later buried at the Novo Groblje cemetery.
Misanovic was arrested on August 7, 1998 based on a report made by
