SARAJEVO, March 26 (Hina) - International organisations active in Bosnia-Herzegovina on Friday condemned violence that broke out Thursday in Banja Luka, in response to NATO strikes against FR Yugoslavia. Spokesman for the UN Mission
in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Douglas Coffman said in Sarajevo that demonstrations were taking place in Republika Srpska's capital Banja Luka for the second day running. There are between 700 and 1,500 demonstrators, mostly young people. Some of them on Thursday threw stones at the offices of the International High Representative for Bosnia--Herzegovina, UN High Commissioner for Refugees and the American, British and French embassies in Banja Luka. Significant material damage was caused and one person injured in the demonstrations. The US embassy in Sarajevo issued a statement Friday saying one of their personnel had been heavily injured in these attacks.(hina) lml
