ZAGREB, March 26 (Hina) - The Defence and National Security Council on Friday held a session under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic, Franjo Tudjman. Although Croatia is in no way involved in the conflict in
neighbouring Yugoslavia, the session expressed interest in its cessation for political and economic reasons, the President's Office said in a statement. The session also expressed understanding for the reasons which caused the NATO action, adding it was necessary to as soon as possible find a peaceful solution to the Kosovo crisis, for the sake of preventing instability from spreading into those parts of Europe Croatia is directly neighbouring with, the statement said.(hina) rml
