BUDAPEST FAIR BUDAPEST, March 25 (Hina) - Representatives of the Croatian Tourist Society (HTZ) on Thursday spoke at the biggest Hungarian tourist fair in Budapest about the situation, possibilities and novelties in Croatian tourism.
Director of the HTZ Main Office Marijan Bulat presented data on a total scope of the Croatian tourism and the number of Hungarian tourists in Croatia in 1998. The data read that according to the number of over-night stays in 1998, Hungarian tourist were on the seventh place of all tourists in Croatia. They spent about DM50 million in Croatia, and the HTZ expects a further increase of the number of Hungarian tourists. According to estimates, the number of Hungarian tourists in 1999 could amount to about 150,000.
