BRCKO, March 15 (Hina) - Supervisor for the north-eastern Bosnian town of Brcko, Robert Farrand, on Monday said the territory of the Bosnian Serb entity would remain integral because the municipality would belong to both entities,
which would secure territorial continuity. The arbitration decision on Brcko represents progress for all parties, Farrand said adding there would be no forced evictions of Serb refugees in the Brcko area. Ben Weiner, spokesman for the Stabilisation Force multinational Division North, said SFOR soldiers would remain at the checkpoints to guarantee safety for the Brcko population. As of today, the SFOR will be conducting an action which is aimed at citizens handing over illegal weapons. Citizens are also called on to inform police about depots with explosive devices.
