ZAGREB, Mar 18 (Hina) - Croatia's trade unions and employers will soon sign an agreement on permanent mutual dialogue and taking a joint stand towards the government in issues they agree on. The Federation of Independent Trade Unions
of Croatia and the Croatian Employers' Association made their decision public in a statement issued on Thursday. Workers' and employers' representatives on Wednesday concluded there was no alternative to collective negotiations, and that for successful negotiations, it is necessary to overcome economic hardships which, they say, is the government's duty. To date the government has failed to show significant interest in the unions' and employers' useful suggestions for a more effective elimination of economic difficulties, the statement said.(hina) ha jn
