ZAGREB, March 18 (Hina) - Reporters of the Croatian Television (HTV) on Thursday requested a new tender for the post of editor-in-chief. The journalists held it was "illogical and inappropriate" for a person who ran as a candidate for
HTV's editor-in-chief sets as a condition for her assuming the duty the post of member of the Management Board. The Croatian Radio and Television Council elected Marija Peakic-Mikuljan as HTV's editor-in-chief at a session March 15. Two days subsequently, she tendered her resignation, as Josip Grgic had been elected to the empty seat in the Management Board, left vacant by Mirko Galic.
