ZAGREB, March 9 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Tuesday received a delegation of the second world military games. Members of the delegation, Croatian Defence Minister Pavao Miljavac, President of the International
Council for Military Sport (CISM) Gianni Gola, Croatian Finance Minister Borislav Skegro, Zagreb Mayor Marina Matulovic-Dropulic, Vjekoslav Brajevic, CISM secretary Bernard Hurst and Josip Lucic, informed the President of the process of preparations the games, the President's Office said in a statement. Tudjman said the military games would contribute to better understanding and added they would be an opportunity for promoting not only Zagreb, but the entire Croatia. According to estimations of organisers of the games, about 10,000
soldier-athletes from 20 countries will participate in the games,
which are to be held in Zagreb between August 8 and 18 under auspices
of President Tudjman.
