ZAGREB, March 8 (Hina) - Nearly 90 per cent of preparations for the second world military games, to be held in Zagreb this August, have already been completed, Croatian Defence Minister Pavao Miljavac said in Zagreb on Monday.
Miljavac gave the statement at tonight's meeting of the steering board of the Institution of 2nd World Military Games, which was also attended by the president of the International Council for Military Sport (CISM), Brigadier Gianni Gola, and CISM secretary, Brigadier Bernard Hurst. Gola, who arrived in Zagreb today to see for himself the course of preparations for this summer's event, visited several sport facilities. The CISM delegation and Croatian representatives will be received tomorrow by the Croatian President Franjo Tudjman.(hina) rml
